The Irene Serra Quartet
Sultry Italian vocalist Irene Serra developed her love for singing whilst performing in choirs, musicals and churches. Her very first professional engagement was as the lead singer of the Unicef choir in Copenhagen at the age of nine.
Her Quartet has performed various styles of music ranging from jazz, blues, gospel and soul in venues around London such as the Jazz Cafè, the Royal Festival Hall, the National Theatre and the Mean Fiddler to name but a few, making them the perfect choice for prestigious corporate and society engagements.
Members of Irene's band include Pianist Bruno d'Ambra - a busy session musician and creative producer, he has featured in a number of projects and recordings & Drummer Ami Rothenberg - a session drummer for One Giant Leap (featuring artists such as Robbie Williams, Maxi Jazz, Neneh Cherry and Eddi Reader).
Irene Serra has a voice as smooth as silk, coupled with amazing stage presence. Treat your guests to to the best in jazz vocalists...

"Irene Serra's vocals, whether soaring through the hall or sung with
perfect restraint, were always delicately elegant and were the perfect
ingredient for a very successful evening..."
Benito Fiore, President of the
Academy of Italian Cuisine (Gala dinner with the Italian Ambassador, The
Dorchester Hotel, London).
"Both the vocals and the music were exquisite and carefully planned to
please all our diverse range of clients. Both the lighter swinging tunes and
the powerful ballads were meticulously balanced and really helped create a
wonderful mood. What a great way to celebrate the festive season....."
