The James Lancaster Band
The James Lancaster Band can provide a range of sophisticated jazz music for any occasion. This experienced band is based around a trio of musicians playing trumpet, guitar and double bass but can be augmented with drums, piano or vocals as required.
James has played alongside many of the UK’s great jazz musicians including Peter King, Alan Barnes, Roy Williams, Bruce Adams and Mark Nightingale. On guitar is one of the county’s finest jazz guitarists. Mike Riley has been playing professionally for most of his life in some of the country’s top venues.
Chantal Lancaster is in great demand as one of the County’s finest female jazz double bassists. Having started her musical career on sax and clarinet she took up the double bass in order to form a strong musical partnership with her husband. |
