Songwriter and one time Manfred Mann front man Mike d'Abo has an impressive career to date. Composing Build Me Up Buttercup for The Foundations and Handbags & Gladrags, a massive hit for Chris Farlowe and Rod Stewart, his hit songs continue to be covered by successful artists across the globe.

Since 1987 Mike has established a formidable reputation with his band The Mighty Quintet in the corporate entertainment & society arena. The Quintet are guaranteed to fill any dance floor with their mixture of soul and dance classics, a number of which have been written or recorded by Mike at some time during his career.

Mike Joined Manfred Mann in 1966 and replaced Paul Jones' as front man. Already attracting attention with his group, A Band Of Angels, Mike was thrust into a wider limelight with the Manfreds and the well-oiled hit machine rolled on. Just Like A Woman, Semi-Detached Suburban Mr James and Mighty Quinn were just three of the string of hits with the 'new boy' in the line-up.
